The Yoruba Revolution by AntiBalaka: 1:00pm On Aug 08, 2019
An obscure northern group has come out to state that the failed Sowore led revolution rally was and is a yoruba conspiracy against the Buhari led Fulani govt.

The group also wants the current political alliance between the north and SW to be severed over what they sees as a Yoruba conspiracy to topple and hijack the presidency for themselves.

They are right!

For as long as the actions of 5 Igbo officers can be termed an Igbo conspiracy to which series of pogroms were carried out on defenseless innocent Igbos in the north and a genocidal war waged and justified till this day by northerners and Yorubas alike, I see no reason why the Sowore led and Yoruba dominated revolutionary match shouldn't be appropriately tagged as a Yoruba conspiracy.

If the Jan 15 coup is still considered an Igbo conspiracy then I see why this Sowore revolution is not a Yoruba revolution since all the revolutionary members are Yoruba.

If you like argue with Arewa youth that came up with that assertion.

Those Northern parasitic fools are privy to the plots to dump Tinubu pipe dream presidency in 2023 for yet another Fulani project.

Until we have another Gideon Orkar revolution, this beasts of sahel would continue to be in Aso Rock via Yoruba Muslims.

It was a Yoruba revolution and what is shadowy northern group going to do about it?

Demand that the political alliance severed and all agreements entered so far abdicated.

From there anti Yoruba sentiments will be spread across the North.

Any attempt to resist Ruga colonies in the SW will buttress their growing anti Yoruba stance.

Zamfara Bandits will be deployed to force you to carve out Fulani colonies and from there the Yoruba will be reduced in their own land to second tier citizens, your Obas downgraded while the Fulani Amirs will be recognized as superior.

You want more?

And you didn't know this until Tinubu getting duped?

Why do you guys keep repeating the same foolishness and expecting a different result?

Seriously, I am more than convinced that some of you are completely ignorant about what Yorubas stand for. What you wrote up there is a figment of your very fertile imagination.
Nigeria would have long ceased to be a country before any of those things could happen. You think we are ibos?

The Yorubas are treacherous snakes.

This is why I totally condemn any attempt at entering any form of alliance with them.

Even their fulani masters knows they can't and should never be trusted.

I am a Yoruba, you should know know by now that we are equal partners in this Nigerian project. We don't take orders from anyone. If unfortunately Nigeria ceases to exit we will continue to reach for greater heights. As for you landlocked people with only a few kilometers of territory I will continue to pray for you. But our borders to east is going to be tight.

Yoruba man will always come out and fight for the good of the country. Igbos will only fight for what is beneficial to Igbos alone or bring money to their pocket to the detriment of others. Fela Kuti, Gani Fanwemi, Tai Solarin, Obafemi Awolowo, Femi Fala, Wole Soyinka etc are all respected men In the country because they are vocal on issues affecting the whole Nigeria. No Igbo man makes the list.

The coup in 1966 was not an Igbo Coup. It was an ethnic cleansing carried out by Igbo officers, backed by Igbo politicians and assisted by a couple of officers from other tribes who thought they were carrying out a revolution. Afterwards, the act was celebrated by Igbos all over the country who taunted and jeered at their compatriots from the north of how they have been dealt with.

That’s not surprising considering the high number of bigoted Igbos on NL, it is expected.
