Most Anambra Women In Malaysia Are Prostitutes — Indigenes

Anambra indigenes in Malaysia on Thursday raised the alarm that most women and girls from the state in that country were into prostitution and sex trafficking .

They stated this at a press conference in Awka, the Anambra State capital.

Speaking through their leader, Okwunwanne Mmaduka, under the aegis of Anambra State Welfare Association Malaysia , the group said the development had become a “ huge concern , embarrassing and unbearable .”

Mmaduka said the group had planned advocacy visits to stakeholders in the state to let them know the situation .

He said , “ We will meet the Obi of Onitsha , Igwe Alfred Achebe , and other monarchs, Governor Willie Obiano and other stakeholders in the state on how to stop the trend .”

He said the group received over 20 complaints each week on the activities of Anambra sex workers in Malaysia , adding that many of the women had lost their lives in the process .

“ We have rescued most of them and sent them back to Nigeria , while some others have been sent to school in Malaysia by us. The trend is giving us a bad name in that country .

“ ASWAM is disturbed by the increasing cases of Anambra State women and girls in Malaysia falling victims of sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation . ”

“ ASWAM is therefore , employing community -based and state -wide campaigns to combat the menace.

“ We are taking the campaigns to families , communities and traditional institutions here in Anambra State .

“ We are raising awareness among our young people , parents, government and the public on the dangers therein .

“ All hands must be on deck in this fight ,” the group said.

I dont like to see women in hardship at all. It gives me grief to hear or see women and their babies suffer hardship. I dont care what tribe.

It says a lot also about men. Men have failed these women. They are not supposed to be in this predicament at all if Men would respond and do what they need to do to hold society together.

This is sad.

Should they be waiting for men all their lives? What kind of orientation is being given to our girls; to be waiting for dicks that will Bleep them out before they can ever be anything in life?
What happens to the men in their families- fathers, brothers, uncles, cousins etc is having men in one's life is all about one's Toto?

Nigeria has a problem that nobody in authority wants to talk about (because they are busy stealing public funds).

The overwhelming majority of the young men (think >80℅) are into internet fraud, and the opposite numbers of young women are freelance prostitutes. Think about the type of society these misguided youth will have, and it becomes obvious that this country has got no future.
