A believer is one who has been ransomed by the blood of Jesus. At that, believers are supposed to live a life of relative ease. However, it has been observed that nany so calked believers wallow in untold hardships. Some have ignorantly resigned to fate believing hardships come with the package. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Believers suffer because they lack understanding of Matthew 6:33. Seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness entells striving to be like Jesusin all ramifications. As believers, we're not expected to ask God to bless us. We get blessed when the vices in our lives have been rooted up and replaced with the wonderful fruits of the Spirit. We should desire fruits of the Spirit more than His gifts. God does not bless a man whose life is filled with vices.

This is so funny. The idea that there is some magic way to achieve success by praying or genuflecting to some god. Even when it does not produce the expected results people still believe and then rationalise the failure away as a lack of faith or lack of belief in some particular method of magic. So very funny.
