Indeed. They show they have , for once , listened to Nigerians. First and foremost, international democracy must improve in the various political Parties if our National democracy is to improve. No point having sagacious candidates (like Donald Duke) in your Party if the mediocre head of the Party will use underhand methods and his own political appointees to sway Primaries votes in his favour when it should be card-carrying 24/7 Party men and women who should actually determine who will represent the Party at the national level. It was lack of internal democracy in the PDP , in 2006, that saw OBJ cower men who could have moved Nigeria forward so that we gained a President that was good for him yet bad for all Nigeria.
