Many of them are imported by the government during elections. But because they are Hausa and Muslims they enjoy some rights even better than other non-Hausa and non-muslims living in the North.

It pains me to my bones when I see countries with low population and blessed with natural resources still suffering from basic infrastructures. Are we caused in Africa. Countries like Qatar, Bahrain, Brunei etc has low population and are doing excellently well, GDP is very high, they pay unemployed citizens salary and even beg them to work.
All we know in Africa is waste and no plan for upcoming generation.

it's the same Northern Nigerians that would put holes in the fence to allow their nomadic brothers into the country. Na you dey pity them, the northerners don't seem to mind at all.

My reaction at reading this is pure confusion. Equatorial Guinea which should be Africa's richest country is filled with lots of poverty. Who would want to go there when all the wealth of the country is embezzled by the ruling family?

Some money, despite the abominable level of corruption is obviously still slipping through.

You can't blame the country for building a border wall as their population is barely a million while Cameroon is about 20 times (if not larger) than theirs. If immigration is left unchecked, the natives will become a minority in their own country.

India has a wall with neighboring Bangladesh built at a cost of $1billion. The influx of Bangladeshi's was already changing the ethnic and racial mix surrounding India states and tensions were beginning to rise
