Liverpool cliam the UEFA Super Cup in penalty shootout.

It was quite an interesting encounter today in the UEFA Super Cup between Liverpool and Chelsea.

Chelsea Manager Frank Lampard made some changes in his starting lineup with Mount, Abraham and Ross Barkley all starting from the bench.

Olivier Giroud scored the first goal of the game with a nice tap in after an excellent pass from Pulisic.

Sadio Mane pulled one back before the hour mark to make it a 1:1 at full time.

Sadio Mane scored his second of the day in the first period of the extra time of which Jorginho equalized after Chelsea was awarded a penalty 6 minutes later.

End of extra time score 2:2.

Liverpool emerged the winner in the penalty shootout after substitute Tammy Abraham lost the last penalty.
