Autotech312:

If you call Zip the father on Nigeria then what would you call The Great Pa Awolowo
Awolowo wanted Nigeria to scatter in favour of a yoruba nation or southern Nigerian at best, while zik fought for one naijeria and got it.

Who is now the father of Nigeria?

I come from a lineage of great men, go ask about Mbadiwe and Ojike families... and I insist that Zik was a lackey to the British and consequently the North, any Igbo person or anyone for that matter with half a sense of history... would know Zik was the primary reason we are in a forced union together. Go and confer with your history books, or do some basic research... before you make a fool of yourself any further.
Unfortunately you are right , Zik was bad for Igbos at least, but we have to move on from his stupidity.

Thunder strike that mouth u use in say the bigoted bastard n lunati Zik is a great man after the orchestrated the killing of the prime minister who by the way was superior to him in 100 folds and the premier of both western n northern region. May Zik n his entire household dead or alive till his 7th generation rot in hellfire.
See ignorance coupled with frustration
For ur info zik was never aware of the first coup n was never a participant. N for ur info again if u like curse him
From now till eternity , it won’t change the fact that he is well honoured n respected all over the world.

Rubbiish:

Even if he had aligned with Awo, that wouldn't have stopped Nigeria from becoming one?
You're damn right. But at least the South would have one voice and will be able to stand their own ground against the northerners

The same way Buhari was never a party to the coup that made him military president.
