The youths of Ekiti East local government area which the headquarters is in Omuo, trop out en mass today to demonstrate a peaceful protest against 6 years blackout in the area. The youths visit all the communities kings and local government secretariat to show their grievances. The youths call upon government and BEDC to come to their aids and promised that their will be another protest which might not be peaceful if peradventure their is no power restoration before September 15, 2019
