*2019 OJUDE OBA: Ladi Adebutu felicitates with Awujale, Ijebu Sons and Daughters.*

Hon(Dr) Oladipupo Adebutu has expressed a warmth congratulatory message to the Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona over the successful hosting of the 2019 edition of annual Ojude Oba festival. The colourful festival which was held at the palace pavilion witnessed many social groups(regberegbe) paying homage to the king. Among the prominent groups in Ijebuland, the Egbe Gbobaniyi Okunrin Akile Ijebu, which Hon Adebutu is the Agbaakin, was not left out of the annual event.

While congratulating the Awujale, Hon(Dr) Oladipupo Adebutu extolled Oba Adetona's virtue as an amiable and open minded person whose reign has brought unprecedented developments to the entire Ijebuland. He also enjoined the people of Ijebuland to continue their support for the king, as well to remain peaceful and law abiding.

He also rejoiced with the sons and daughters of Ijebuland for witnessing another successful Ojude Oba festival and prayed for journey mercies back to their various destinations.

Like the previous years, this year's Ojude Oba was also fun galore at the famous Ijebu Ode club where Hon Adebutu hosted friends, political leaders and well wishers to a rousing reception. The popular Apala maestro, Musiliu Haruna Ishola and the popular G-Melody high-life band treated guests that filled the 2000 capacity marquee with thrilling songs.

The reception atmosphere was made glamourous and glitzy by Astoria Events who provided high class entertainment for the event.
