Ohanaeze Ndigbo youths worldwide has described the Saturday attack on the former Nigeria's Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as regrettable.

It said such attack on the good man, whose antecedent and programme towards Igbo emancipation was not necessary.
The youths condemned the attack in strong terms, demands an unreserved apology from the leadership of IPOB group for assaulting one of the most celebrated Igbo Icons.
The leader of Ohaneze Ndigbo youths wing worldwide Ambassador Arthur Uchenna Obiorah made this public in a press statements made available to journalists in Awka, warned that Igbo youths will not tolerate indiscernible act from irate youths that may want to hide under any disguise.
"" I am infuriated when I saw the online Video of how one of our illustrious sons, In person of Senator Ike Ekweremadu was assaulted by our fellow Igbo Youths in Germany".
"Without mincing words, Igbo youths worldwide condemned the action of the IPOB group Germany and we request an unreserved apology to Ikeoha, his family, Ndigbo at large.
The Ndigbo apex youths socio cultural group said, " We know among ourselves who are our true leaders in the struggle to emancipate Igbo land or restructure Nigeria states into viable component units which our national leader Nnia Nwodo is championing'.
"We will not clap for our youths who carried out that assault on Ekweremadu in Germany, and we described the act as disappointing, grotesque and dangerous for Igbo solidarity.

“This violent, rude, impertinent, divisive and discourteous style of IPOB or IPOB-instigated miscreants is damaging to our cause. It strengthens the case of those who describe them as terrorists and weaken our case against the infringement of our fundamental human rights.”

Ambassador Obiorah however called on Igbo Youths worldwide to kick against the wicked act of those Igbo miscreants in Germany, said responsible Igbo youths will not be deterred to champion our genuine cause in the nation called Nigeria.
It would be recalled that some Igbo youths in Germany on Saturday, mall-handled immediate past deputy Senate president, Ike Ekweremadu in an online video, at an Igbo Iriji Festival organized by prominent Igbo sons and daughters in Germany.
The online videos trended and it has since received condemnation from Ndigbo worldwide, an attack many said was been carried out on a wrong person
