3 months, because of what? General advice is 1 month and that's even because of playing safe to preventing the woman from getting an infection, even though she's typically on antibiotics at this time. Have there been women that had sex before 1 month after childbirth, maybe 3 weeks plus, YES; and they are doing fine. Anyone that needs 3 months to heal down there is peculiar to that person for whatever reasons. It is not a general rule for all women.
