This may be shocking to you,but it is not that kind of sleep you are thinking.it is a spiritual sleep and slumber that occurs at hours of spiritual activity wherein a christian who suppose to be awake for warfare and getting victory over satan and demons suddenly is spiritually asleep thereby giving satan upper control of the christians life and planting tares among the wheat.
This sleep is a physical sleep during spiritual activities eg sleeping in church services most especially when the word of God is being preached.people would not sleep during praise and worship but why during the word of God thatis to give spiritual life to their spirit?
sleeping during night vigil or during day programs of intensified spiritual warfare and breakthrough deliverance prayers that would change their lives totally.why at that hour they sleep?
infact ,a christian must be awake at 12-3am to erase satans daily tares of evil planned for that day .To be asleep at such a deadly hour is catastrophic!

Mind you Jesus christ did not say there are 24 hours in a day!
He said "are there not 12 hours in a day?
when a christian is sleeping physically viaout the day without night job shift or day job shift or no stress,then you must know that there is a spiritual problem.if throught a day a christian does not sleep during physical activities whichare less profitable ,why sleeping during spiritual activities which are the most profitable for the present and eternity? something is wrong,there is an evil spirit at work or demonic operation,administration or manifestation over or in the life of that christian that must be put to an end via deliverance!
This type of sleep is dangerous to the christian life.it is one that leads to spiritual defeat,robbery,death which manifests in the daily life physically as the bad things which are not meant to happen to a christian that happens due to the lost ground the enemy gains in the life of that christian when he or she sleeps spiritually.
If God performed the first

They sleep because it is boring.

if God performed the first operation on adam by causing him to have a deep sleep ,how much more when men sleep spiritually ,imagine the destruction satan would make for the life and in the life of that christian!

1st Thessalonians 5:6-7 says "Therefore let us not sleep,as do others,but let us watch and be sober!
for they that sleep sleep in the night and they that be drunken are drunken in the night
The watching period is the spiritual hour of night vigil a christian must observe which is one hour -mt 26:38-40.
The disciples were sleeping physically at the hour of prayer.
They went into temptation and it turned sour.
christians are spiritually meant to be awake at spiritual activities physically because we are children of the day ,not night-ist thessalonians 5:8.who are the children of the night? or the dark?
They are satan and his demons,the human representatives eg witches,wizards,familiar spirit ,marine spirit and their human possesed types.They go to meetings at night and are spiritually

They carry out evil at night for the day and after exerting all their evil powers and energy ,it weighs down on their physical bodies so they sleep at day time.They sleep in the afternoon.
They sleep,sleep,sleep but are spiritually active at nighttime for evil.
This is why if a christian has the same symptoms as them,there is a need for deliverance.
mind you,it is people who work that sleep-ecclesiastes 5:12.
But when there is no physical work done overnight and a christian is spiritually asleep then something is wrong.
when a christian dies physically,people say he or she slept in the lord-1st thess 4:14 meaning,their spirit is still alive.only their body dies.-dan 12:2,1 cor 15:51,matthew 27:52-54
it was a past spiritual tense but when a christian is physically alive but is always sleeping in spiritual activities and is finding it boring and now sleeps off,then something is wrong.

There is areason a christian must be spiritually alive during spiritual activites in the physical.what are spiritual activities?They are spiritual exercises eg praying,fasting,warfare/intercessory prayers,revival,crusades and evangelism.some are in the physical realm ,but praying and fasting with intercessory/warfare prayers takes a christian spiritually while praying in the physical into a warzone and warfield
if at that hour some one is asleep physically,it means he or she has been captured before and is bound spiritually from such activity.Such a person has been arrested by satanic forces or is under a spiritual attack by the spirit of slumber,slothfulness or laziness.
The result is a loss of spiritual victory,blessing,breakthrough,riches or promotion and instead spiritual captivity,slavery,poverty and death which manifests as evil in the physical-proverbs 20:13
what this means is that the victim is possesed by an evil spirit and cant be spiritually alive at that moment,so he or she sleeps off physically.

If as a christian you find it easy with physical activities eg primary -eating drinking,playing
secondarily-entertainment,sports,procreation and vacation.if you find it easy doing these things with all attention,energy,dedication,devotion and consecration (DCD) AT 100% but when it comes to the spiritual eg primarily-reading your bible,praying,singing,evangelism,edification
secondrily-spiritual exercise(fasting,praying,warfare prayers against satan and demons)spiritual sight(dreams,revelations ,trances,open vision)spiritual taste(hearing and feeding on the word of God)spiritual discernment(tasting,smelling,sensing,receptivity to prophecy)spiritual walk(by the leading of the spirit) your DCD IS 0% then you need deliverance! from satanic bondages,spirits or demonic possesion or affliction and suppression.whatever is making u sleep in the presence of God is an inner enemy & robber.
