I disagree with Ipob and what they did to Ekweremadu but that attire was a no no. Ekweremadu got it wrong, not just because it has the coat of arm but because he bastardised the ‘isiagu’.

Who does that? If he wants to be a fashionista, he should hit the runway. What he did to that jumper was can be compared to an NYSC platoon leader cutting and adapting his uniform to suit or confirm to some silly social trend.

Ekweremadu messed up with his dressing. He committed an unpardonable faux pas with that coat of arms patterns. If an Don Jazzy, Phyno or the boy that presents Big brother Nigeria (Ebuka) attempts or wears that, they could be pardoned but Ekweremadu? He shouldn’t do that.

Ipob was childish, embarrassing and barbaric but Ekweremadu was very foolish to wear that piece of thrash to an Iriji. While I believe that Ipob should be punished for their unruly behaviours, Ekweremadu should be fined for disrespecting our culture.
