10-year-old girl was brutally beaten by her father with an electric wire and now she has a wounded eye, battles to regain her sight.

According to reports, the 10-year old girl who resides around Ikotun area of Lagos state almost got blinded by her father who beat her up for allegedly making a ladder fall from its position.

In the video shared by a social media user, Sandra Joseph, the little girl whose swollen right eye was closed and has an injury on it claims her father inflicted the injury on her. Speaking in Yoruba, she said her father was not home when the ladder fell but on getting back, he accused her of making it fall and started beating her with an electric wire that cause her the injury.

Besides the injury and swollen eye, a wound can be seen on her left arm as well.

Even ANTHONY JOSHUA would go for six months treatment to recover from such a bad eyes..... Children will always be children pls parents and potential parents take notes....

Evidence that the religious institutions, the law enforcement system, the judiciary, lack of home training, all has failed us. Back in the day, fear of the law and the police will not allow this man do this to his child or the religious institutions would've raised him well, or good example from his own parents would have instilled in him how to be a father and how to act when he is upset and frustrated but these things don't exist anymore, all we have is hope and lies and bad frustrated parents, bad frustrated adults, bad frustrated folks everywhere making bad choices on a daily basis.

Beating a female child to such extent is so wrong. God forbid, she later gets married in future and marry a man that beats her, she will think its a normal thing.
