It's definitely been a good month for health. Scientists have found a cure for XDR-TB (extensively drug resistant TB). This development comes on the heels of the new cure for Ebola. Extensively drug resistant TB is the deadliest strain of Tuberculosis, as it is resistant to the four antibiotics typically used to treat Tuberculosis. Nigeria is one of the countries included among the 30 high burden countries for TB, TB/HIV and DR-TB.
