Blood pressure reading has two numbers. The first one written above is the Systolic number which represents the pressure in the blood vessels when the heart beats. The second number -Diastolic, represents the pressure in the blood vessels when the heart rests between beats. An optimal blood pressure level is a reading under 120/80mmHg.
