After searching for and reading through a lot of threads about Pig farming here on Nairaland (especially on this Section) and many other sources (both online and offline), I have decided to go into Pig farming. I am starting next week with 2 full-grown pigs (weigh 50kg each), this is because, as a starter, I don't want to go through the stress of weaners and growers (I was advised by my mentor) . According to the plan, these pigs will have just a month or less into getting pregnant and will deliver some 4 months afterwards.
NB: I am not doing it alone, I'm doing it under the mentorship of my area brother who has been in the business for the past 2+ years. I have done the feasibility study very accurately and everything is in place. Any advice for me, please?
