The agreement signed by DISCOs has certain checks & balances including milestones & timelines that if followed up by the government regulatory agency, would have translated to a better power situation.

For my Area in ph,light na 247.....na the people dey even pray make Phed take the light.

I blame it partly on some end users. Many people use power without paying for it. If you calculate the amount of user charges arrears own to Discos, you will be surprised. I think this is one of the reasons why power is becoming so expensive in the country. At over 29 Naira and to be increased at the end of this year, that's too much. Discos themselves are very corrupt and I blame them for many reasons too.
