Senior pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo, has appeared before the police to face questioning over rape allegations levelled against him by Busola, wife of singer Timi Dakolo, Igbere TV reports.

Fatoyinbo arrived at the Force Criminal Investigation Division (FCID) headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday.

The preacher’s protocol team was sent out of FCID headquarters.

Did he get an invitation from the police? It is very easy to use the social media negatively. If he received an invitation at that same period he would have honored it. Hopefully the "ayes" and "nays" can have some peace now.

Dakolo posted the so called document, it was an invitation by the Police cos they were disturbing the country but case not officially reported to the Police.
If they don't sign the papers, they won't appear before the Police.
On the other hand, she said she was accosted on the streets somewhere by masked men and was forced into their vehicle where she signed the papers which was a withdrawal of the case.
Those are 2 contradictory statements.

But we still have a duty to do our small part as non-COZA, non-paid, unbiased individuals, not by demonizing anybody, but by clearly stating the FACTS so obfuscation becomes very difficult.
We’ll never know if Fato is guilty or not. But there are things we do know:
1) Other women have come forward with accusations against him including the two below.
2)He said he’s never had any private interaction with Bukola except pastoral. People do not believe that.
3) He was chief priest of a cult that sometimes used rape for initiation and sometimes murdered rivals
4) MOTIVE: what else would be Bukola’s motive for putting herself and family through all this”

But this is not really about Fato. Fato will be fine. The point is that they should stop demonizing people just for daring to come forward. Ask yourself if it were your daughter or sister making these allegations would u be behaving the same way. Stop trying to destroy people for coming forward. If victims are scared into never daring to come forward the practice will continue and grow till it gets to someone close to u.
