How close is this man to Lie Mohammed? grin

He is closer to barawo bubu, the head honcho of the Liars Club aka APC than to Lie Mohammed who is an understudy to the big goon.

Don't expect anything, you cant give what you don't have.

Sylva failed as a Governor and he is bound to fail as a minister in a directionless administration!

When we stop choosing or allowing folks to choose inept and failed leaders, we will start seeing changes, till then, ONE CHANCE!

Typical Nigerian/black man mindset...

HARDLY READ, EVEN AFTER READING NEVER TAKE TIME TO UNDERSTAND Before commenting?

do u think cost of production is same as price of oil?

Cost of production/cost per barrel is controlled by internal forces while price of oil is controlled by international market forces

But you forget that COST OF PRODUCTION AFFECTS the COST PRICE OF THE PRODUCT? You seem to be the typical example of the typical Nigerian/Black man mindset. You even lack self esteem because your inferiority complex is epic. Blacks are inventors and intellectuals as many whites are also illiterates and lacks sense.

This is what u get when u plug a square peg in a round hole. You think lifting crude from the bottom hole to the surface is easy as drawing water from a well. How would u reduce the cost of production from marginal fields with low drawdown were the producers need to inject gas to increase bottom hole pressure or inject water to fracture such Wells. Timipre Sylva please note that cost of production is relative. A low cost for shell petroleum can be extremely high cost for Afren petroleum. Kindly stick to ur duty of signing off over bloated contracts and stop meddling in stuff meant for technocrats.

This is one of the best news in recent time. As a nation, presently, the greatest problem is the cost of oil production in Nigeria. Bloated from geological studies to exploration (acquisition/processing/interpretation) to exploitation/production. His statement, definitely, is coming from a very robust mind!

Some companies are already doing less than 25usd per barrel. My own is how do he plan to do that? Let it not be by boycotting standards because we don't want the Deep Water Horizon experience here. Reducing multiple taxation will be a good start. But only Company owners and NNPC go benefit. Nigeria may make more money in the long weekend run but the effect will not be significant except oil prices go up.
