It is not about Mr. Buhari probing him. That is nonsense. Mr Donald Trump doesn't probe anyone, neither does Boris Johnson or Angela Merkel. It is the system that regulate, institutions that probe under the impetus of the citizens that constantly demand acxountability. Institutions feed into the strength and will of the people, nothing else. Government is merely a reflection of the wishes of the people, the nature of the people.

That is why we advocate restructuring so that people can come together and agree on standards for everythng including the way they perceive their leaders and what they expect of them in terms of conduct and accountability. And this is only possible when you decouple Nigeria so that states compete. So when State A deals with its leaders and jails them through its own Supreme Courts and the people prosper as a result, State B, hitherto been led as a feudal state with rife corruption will have its citizens revolt and demand accountability that brings prosperity.

Right now the Federal structure we practice enables for instance a Rochas to hide in Abuja and run his mouth when he should be answering charges before an EFCC state equivalent in Owerri. We need to restructure so that corruption is not dealt with from Abuja alone but from the source. Let the people set the standards they want to develop and let them learn best practices as a result. Many states from Abia to Delta to Taraba to Lagos will have been far better governed when the people are empowered.
