You know when someone works hard to make it and it dawns on them, after many years, that they won't get there, they console themselves with "life is vanity upon vanity." Who knows if "Nigeria is a trillion times better than America" could be his own consolation after many visa rejections and other unsuccessful attempts to go to the USA? Who knows?
