I watched The Lion King movie sometime ago and I'd like to share with you some LIFE CHANGING LESSONS from the movie.
1) NEVER point out your FAVORITE. The enemy ALWAYS attack the favorite.
Mufasa, The Lion King pointed out Simba, his son, as the heir to his throne. This caused the enemy to target him.
2) Be CAREFUL who you share your plans with; you never know who your enemy is.
Simba trusted Scar, his uncle so much that he told him everything.
3) Be CAREFUL who you take advice from because not everyone who gives you advice has a good intention.
Scar always gave little Simba bad advice that always landed him into trouble and eventually, his father's death.
4) The devil is an accuser of brethren. He calls you by your sin, not by your name.
Scar, Simba's uncle kept pointing accusing fingers on Simba concerning his father's death even after many years.
5) KNOW who you are and who you LISTEN to.
Simba lived in a shadow of himself for many years because of what his uncle filled his mind with right from childhood.
He wrote himself off completely and lost his faith in his ability.
6) SURROUND yourself with positive people.
Simba made 2 good friends, Pumba and Timmon who were unbothered by his past failures but challenged him to get over them and be happy.
7) So many destinies will suffer if you don't take action to own your life.
Simba's mother and the whole kingdom were suffering because Simba didn't fight for his throne. You know what happened when he finally did.
Leave a GOOD legacy for your children. That may be all they'll have after you are gone.
9) Your process will toughen you. Go through it.
10) Finally, FACE YOUR FEARS. Your fears are also afraid of you.
