Since they don't use batons anymore but are synonymous with bribes, is it safe to call them 'egunje' now?

Things have changed. But they should stop roaming the streets with Assault Rifles which I think is a bit extreme. I think pistols are sufficient. Except for special units that need brute force.

There's nothing like yorobers. It's Yorubas same way some people will be saying 'Igbo, ibo' etc. instead of Igbo. One of the reasons we have this tribalism issue is the lack of respect when mentioning other tribes.

In my language it's ofarivu (the person who ties his stomach) because of their belts. It is still valid till date because they still use belt to tie their stomach.

they are like kings who are thought to possess conglomerate of powers but yet they are built to be nice and harmless by depriving them the use of the power. Just like somebody having a bow but there is no arrow to shoot at any opposition...
Revelation 6:1-8 King James Version (KJV)

6 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
