Will it be another case of white elephant project?

The state also intends to construct an Airport and an Industrial cluster.

EBONYI STATE GOVERNMENT BEGINS MASSIVE CONSTRUCTION OF INDUSTRIAL CLUSTERS IN THE STATE.

The Ministry of Project Monitoring and Evaluation has embarked on effective supervision, inspection and monitoring of all the ongoing projects across the State.

The team led by the Hon. Commissioner for Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Chief Oluchukwu Ukie Ezeali, visited some of the project sites in Uburu.

The Commissioner who expressed gratitude at the volume of work at the College of Medicine, Uburu, commended His Excellency for the number of mega projects going on concurrently and with adequate specification in terms of *QUALITY* .

He equally noted that *love* for the people of the State informed His Excellency's commitment to the infrastructural development of the state irrespective of the limited resources. Quoting one of his discussion with His Excellency "That the LOVE of my people surpasses every other thing including money, hence His Excellency commitment to save more money and prudently do more projects for the State which will remain indelible as Legacy even after every of us has gone.

The Commissioner also appreciated the Quantity Surveyor and Quality Control Officer for being on ground to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of work on site.
He further on assured the QA/QC manager that the concerns raised will be addressed to enhance the smooth quality control & Quality assurances of all the state projects.

The Commissioner pointed out few negative remark on the site and therein insisted on immediate action. He equally warned that thorough inspection of Reinforcement work should be done and that before casting any part, that Contractor's must notify the State Engineers on Site.
He however commended the State Lead Engineer; Engr. Joe for the good job he is doing.

The Commissioner expressed his displeasure over the poor and slow pace of activities at the Industrial Cluster. He condemned the use of 0.35mm aluminium sheet and ordered the Contractor rep on site to immediately remove the sheets on Site. The Hon. Commissioner noted that most sites were not going on at the Industrial Cluster Project due to some complains from the Contractors and then immediately resolved to have a formal meeting with all the Contractors working at the Industrial Cluster Project by Tuesday 3/9/19 in his ministry.
The Commissioner noted some poor block laying works at the Staff Quarter Project and insisted the removal & correction of a complete roll of already laid blocks.

The Commissioner informed all workers that he will start to implement the mandate given to him to arrest and prosecute anyone doing poor quality job for the State.

Hon Ezeali finally stated that the Ministry will continually support His Excellency to ensure he achieves his goals for the State.

Also speaking, the Permanent Secretary (D), Mrs Ikechukwu Oruh Herrienta, expressed satisfaction on the level of work going on in the site, stating that the aspiration of the Governor to give the State a face lift will be actualized.

The sites visited include: College of Medicine Uburu, the Industrial Cluster and Staff Quarters.

Please a brother just got a job at around lekki and is in urgent (he is resuming tomorrow, monday) need of a temporary accommodation for atmost a period of six months, he is ready to pay a pairing up fee as small as #10,000/ month due to the fact that he just got a job and also he will also be responsible for things at home too (Financially and physically).
