The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) announced on Sunday that some sections of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway will be closed from September 2 to October 31 for construction work An advisory released on Sunday said the road will be closed from Kara Bridge inward Berger and from Berger inward Kara Bridge. The alternative routes announced for road users are: Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway from/to Abeokuta connecting from/to Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Sagamu-Ikorodu Road from/to Sagamu connecting via Sagamu Interchange from/to Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Ijebu-Ode – Itoikin Road from/to Ijebu-Ode connecting from/to Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Recall that Julius Berger, the company handling the construction of that section of the road, had previously announced plans to close the road in August but the closure was postponed due to the Muslim Eid-el-Kabir celebration and other religious activities scheduled around the period. https://www.ogbomosoinfo.tk/2019/09/partial-closure-of-lagos-ibadan.html

The alternate routes should have been patched up ,most of the routes are horrible. |

The road was awarded and reawarded for 16 years without implementation. Thanks to PMB. PDP and her e-rats would soon tell us it was Jonathan that started the road. Bunch of fools |
