Popular Nollywood Veteran Actor, Charles Awurum joines the Executive Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Governor Emeka Ihedioha in an overheated dance, during the August New Yam Festival reception, held at the Governors' home-mansion in Mbaise LGA, Imo state, in futherance to the success recorded during the Imo New Yam festival ceremony.

The New Yam Festival reception held at the home of His Excellency, Governor Emeka Ihedioha noticed the presence of distinguished dignitaries across Nigeria, as well as high profile indigent personalities in Mbaise, Imo State.

Actor Charles Awurum expressed excitment over the successful hosting of the New Yam Festival in Mbaise, Imo State. In his expression, he engaged the Executive Governor in an overheated dance that caught dragged attention of guests into amazements and humour.

Actor Charles Awurum was amongst the few Nollywood Celebrities who championed several campaigns for Governor Emeka Ihedioha during the last Governorship Election in Imo state. He played pragmatic roles at ensuring that His Excellency becomes the Governor of Imo State, using social campaign strategies to influence grassroot support for Governor Emeka Ihedioha.
