Focus Naija has obtained a video of the Nigerian High Commission that was set ablaze by South Africans in an escalated renewed xenophobic attack.

We reported earlier with photos from the scene as firefighters struggled to put out the inferno.

Sharing the video with newsmen, the Nigerian Voice wrote,

High commission of Nigeria was under attack this morning by South Africans who say Nigerians must leave the country. They called The Nigerian Voice and I rushed down there now with Channels Television. Apparently Nigerians shop and business were burnt down yesterday. We are on our way there with all High Commission staff and heavy South African Police personal.
