I remember those years when the rest of Nigerians mostly Yoruba' Igbo's were laughing and mocking Edo people because of human trafficking and prostitution abroad. Even on facebook newspapers pages and YouTube comment sections, you'll see them telling the world that they are not Nigerians but from Edo state.

What did Edo government do? They started looking for solutions and it worked, both the oba of Benin and the present governor plus the speaker have been seriously working to stop it, they came up with various means of stop trafficking. Every time the Libya returnees return home, they will laugh and mock at least they are home.

When will say Igbo's are the majority in crimes abroad and destroying Nigeria image, they will call it tribalism and hatred for Igbo's. From morroco to Saudi Arabia to Indonesia's, India,USA,China, south Africa, Ghana ,Kenya etc there are thousands of Igbo's there in prison and most are awaiting death penalty. They will never see home again.

The worst of it all is their leaders are busy looting and enriching their pocket while their people are in jail and getting killed abroad. They need to do something and they needs to do it fast.

This is a sensitive topic but i understand what the OP is trying to say. Igbos travel far and wide and thus takes their businesses everywhere they go. I don't even know how to put this without offending no one but the truth is Nigerian youths need to have a rethink.

Life is not all about money. The overzealous quest to become successful is why we are tagged criminals everywhere we go and this is a byproduct of the Nigerian government oppression we have suffered over the years.

We grew up under so much pressure! We must make it by fire by force! We can't fight our government and demand for our rights so we rather travel here and there with no tangible plans ahead.

sad sad sad

If Nigeria think we are tarnishing the image of Nigeria abroad then why are they holding on to us? Give us our nation let us tarnish the biafran image instead

Abdul Mutallab, does the name ring a bell?

He remains the first and only Nigerian international terrorist. What did the Yoruba nation do?

A Yoruba man is the current president of Nigerian Union in South Africa. So there are many Yorubas in SA.

What has Yoruba nation done about skull mining and ritual killings in Nigeria.

Yeah.

Drug lords like Buruju Kashamu and Tinubu, who have served as role model for some of these impressionable yahoo + boy, and ritualist should be made to see the consquence of their lifestyle on their people.

Too bad FG will not look their way.
