Abacha was a no-nonsense general, that's for sure.

He wouldn't have stood for this.

But don't forget that his was a military regime, so there are actions he could take instantaneously, that would be a lot more problematic for a civilian president like Buhari.

YINMU. When Libya was burning did Nigerians there agree to come home? Did GEJ not send a plane and they told him Libya on fire is better than naija? Those peeps in SA would not enter that plane back home.

You are a LIAR. The planes that were sent to Libya to bring Nigerians home were FILLED TO THE BRIM with Nigerians, and they came back home, with many returnees interviewed on TV publicly regretting their decision to leave Nigeria.
