Do you know what it means to gazette something. That's what Ganduje did, it can never be changed.
Didn't Ajimobi gazetted the elevation of these so called High Chiefs to the position not recognized by their custom? So why did they have to drop their crowns if anything gazetted can't be changed according to you?

What British failed to tell us was that democracy cannot operate with traditional rule on the same land on same people
It is either one system of government or the other. Not both.
Western world don't have traditional rulers. That's why they get things done.
Government owns every land and everybody pays tax to government.

Even if it can't be changed, their demotions will be independently gazetted.

This your oyinbo worship makes you think like a stone. So the queen of England is an elected government official? Monarchies are everywhere in Europe.

And yet it exists together in the UK.

To make it even more convoluted, Queen Elizabeth is the head of state in Canada and Australia too. And those countries pay for any state visits the British monarchy makes to their country. They also sing 'God save the Queen' (the british anthem) as their royal anthems, in addition to their national anthem.

There are laws in place for everyone's role. And everyone abides by the law so there's peace.

UK don't have any other anthem except "God save our Gracious Queen/King"
That's what they use in FIFA, Olympics, Commonwealth, and in every occasion.
In UK, you have ONE monarchy.
The entire democracy is under the queen and she has stepped aside from politics to allow democracy rule.
All prime ministers bow to the Queen before they begin their tenure. I read this in the Autobiography of Tony Blair.
The Queen's Face is on their money. She is their highest Authority.
Remember that this their Brexit issue is giving them so much stress that they considered letting the Queen have the final say.

In Nigeria, all our monarchs are sidelined. They don't do anything. They've never done anything.
Our democracy is above all the plenty monarchs. OR, they are fighting against our democracy.
That's why we don't move.
President say this, Monarch say that. People are confused.

To u, ur statement makes sense but to every reasonable person, I don't think you're communicating at all. Does Buhari has hand in Olubadan monarch tussle between Oba Adetunji Salihu and the former governor.

I don't know why u bolded what u bolded cos I clearly wrote there that Australia and Canada sing both a royal anthem (The British 'God save the queen') and their national anthem. Those countries have 2 anthems.

OK.
But I thought you said UK has 2 national anthems. Which it doesn't.
You can confirm that both Canada and Australia dont' have 2 systems of government. They have one system with no traditional rulers under it.
They may sing "God save our Queen" and their own anthem. But their Government runs on democracy system and the Queen doesn't interfere, nor do they consult with her.
--
Nigeria's problem remains that the traditional rulers are the owners of the land/ culture
Democracy came around and sidelined all of them.
They feel left out. Sometimes the people support them, sometimes not.
See what Sanusi did. Ran to Kano and turbaned himself, let his traditional power shield him from Government investigation.
No one is supposed to be above the law in democracy. Why this? And this is why we have confusion in Nigeria.

It appears you cannot link the travails of the beaded Obas in Ibadan after Ajimobi's exit to the possible fate of Ganduje's Emirs when he eventually leaves office.

Hope you are able to find the sense you're looking for.
. Nice response!

Greedy old men. When you their "back bone" is no longer in power. Why didn't they reject the crowns initially.

I can see connectivity between Ajimobi and Gaduje.

Gaduje son married Ajimobi daughter.

Gaduje dealt with Emir of Kano, Ajimobi dealt with Oba of ibadan

Acted wisely? Why didn't they reject the worthless crowns Ajimobi distributed to them in order to help preserve the sanctity of the reverred Olubadan stool? That would have been wisdom and not after their supposed subjects have rejected them.
