N8.631 billion, imagine!

If that governor can truly show us RUGA with that money, kudos to him. It is not up to half of what your state incumbent governor will loot.
BTW: does spending 8.6 billion naira on RUGA over next few years means that he spend on education? Or, everything should go to education while you graduates with no any form of skills still roaming the streets?

As long as they keep it in the North, it is none of Southerners business. The idea has been rejected wholeheartedly by us down south, so whatever it is they wanna do with the Ruga project, they should, except of course we are now clamoring for the establishment of the same settlements down here.

Have you seen their people on the streets crying blue murder? Is this not you advocate for, that every state should decide if they want RUGA or not? Now, you still want to go to Zamfara to carry placards

So u actually thought once a state has a project, it will simply run to the federal govt and ask for money. My brother it doesn't work like that. State projects are financed from state allocation, govt/private partnership and borrowing from institutions like IMF and World Bank. Not ur southern oil money as u claimed.

Isn't it Zamfara state using it's state funds to build this ? If they rather build ruga than something else that's their choice.

In the near future we, igbos, will be submitting tenders for supply of materials in RUGA settlements in the north... Businessmen will take advantage to make money while Igbos will grumble off n on line...

Any state that wants to participate in RUGA should go ahead,
Our stance @ is that no state should be forced to Participate in RUGA and furthermore, no state should grumble or beef (no puns intended) when they see the profit and returns the participating states are making monthly and annually.
As 97% of Nigerians eat beef on a daily basis.....argue with your oesophagus! cheesy

if you look at indigenous Hausa people's life since fulani from Mali conquered them with some parts of kwara state ,then ask your self if igbos will live that type of Hausa people's life,it won't work you people can even use Abuja including emir of kano palace as Ruga is non of our business, our businss with fulani people is if we want cow we buy from them if them too want spare parts or Chinese fone we will sell to them but to live with them God forbid
