Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, has revealed that the Federal Government is exploring ways to escape paying the heavy $9.6bn fine imposed against it in favour of Irish firm, Process and Industrial Developments Limited (P&ID). According to him, expecting that Nigeria will surrender up to $9.6bn in asset is dubious, and would not stand further litigation. But how does Mohammed expect this to happen, especially when P&ID is already profiling Nigerian assets for seizure?
