Mosque Demolition: Sultan Of Sokoto Speaks, Says Its An 'abominable Act' by IamHeWrites: 9:26am On Sep 07, 2019 |
The Sultan of Sokoto and President of the Jaamatul Nasir Islam (umbrella body of all Muslims in Nigeria) Sa’ad Abubakar on Friday September 6, spoke up against the demolition of a mosque allegedly carried out by the Rivers State Government. Describing the alleged demolition of the Rainbow Junction Mosque as an abominable act in a statement released on his behalf by JNI’s Secretary-General Dr Khalid Abubakar-Aliyu, the Sultan of Sokoto called on all Muslims to remain calm pending the resolution of the crisis, Igbere TV reports l. The statement reads: “Jama’tu Nasril Islam (JNI) under the leadership of His Eminence, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, CFR, mni, as custodian of the deen, the Islamic Religion in Nigeria, whose revered symbol is inherent in the Masjid, the Mosque, described by our revered Prophet, on whom peace and benediction of Allah will be upon, as Baitullah, the house of Allah, is without any doubt pained by the act of demolition of Trans-Amadi Mosque under whatever guise. “However, at trying moments such as this, Muslims should be guided by the Qur’anic teaching of introspection and perseverance, truthfulness and sincerity. Such stand fetches for them Allah’s guidance on how the situation would be approached and solved. “The above approach is to enable the Muslim Ummah to come together in unity under its leadership, which I swear in the name of Allah the Exalted, right from the time the dastard act of the Trans-Amadi Mosque demolition took place, is working round the clock in finding lasting solutions with wisdom, for what the Rivers State Government did, unfortunately, in order to forestall future occurrence of such abominable act in Rivers State and anywhere in Nigeria. “Muslims are therefore called upon to be calm and restraint, and be prayerful, while the leadership seeks for concordant and accordant redress, within the shortest possible time frame in-sha-Allah”. http://igberetvnews.com/968033/mosque-demolition-sultan-of-sokoto-speaks-says-its-an-abominable-act/ Lalasticlala Mynd44 Dominique 1 Share

Satan of Sokoto...! From the Caliphate point of view, the rest of the country belongs to Sultan who can direct any governor to build or destroy Mosques! This will not be allowed! We Stan to correct the egotistic Caliphate that Majority of Nigerians are not Muslims. Neither can 10 states of core Northern Muslims control the majority 26 states and FCT made of majority Christians. It's obvious, BuhariApC is working on moving the seat of Caliphate from Sokoto to Abuja in nearest future and the planned changing of our constitution to reflect "The Sultanate Republic of Nigeria". This too won't work. Wike is a hero. The Lion himself. I love men with GUTS! Rivers is a Christian state. And It will always be. 9 Likes 1 Share |
