One of the challenge facing democracy in Nigeria is that the good candidates don't have the financial muscle to win primaries in any of the two major political parties so the electorates are left with the only option of choosing the lesser and higher devil.
James manager has been there for almost 16yrs yet no tangible constituency project.
My people we need to reform our electoral system or else we will continue to be stagnant while debts pile up for unborn generation.

Eyah its very possible the guy himself you met is not a responsible guy. I know many of James Managers kids and relative doing very fine because he takes very good care of the people around him. Note that in life you can please everyone the way you expect. If the guy is responsible, even if the James Manager himself didn't help him directly at least he should also be close to the mans kids or other relative doing well and they could assist as well but its very obvious there is more to the story than whatever the guy told you and that's the simple truth.

It is like that because we don't have a honest pressure group that can mount pressure for constitutional reforms. One of the things we need to ban is that after been a govern, just leave politics until we build strong institutions...

Even our electoral system needs to be changed so that winning election will no longer be determined by north if we must continue this presidential system of govt.

Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the 2019 Delta South senatorial election, has reacted to the judgement of the Election Tribunal which sacked his rival, James Manager.

Reporters had earlier reported that the Tribunal, on Saturday, nullified the election of Manager of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as Senator representing Delta South in the National Assembly.

The Tribunal said the election was marred by irregularities and ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to withdraw the certificate of return issued Senator James Manager immediately.

The three man panel presided over by Justice C. O. Onyaebo, in Asaba, the Delta State capital, equally ordered INEC to conduct a fresh election into the Delta South senatorial district within the period of 90 days.

But reacting in a statement obtained by reporters on Saturday, the former Governor of Delta State said the Tribunal should have declared him winner of the February 23 poll.

“While we are happy with the tribunal’s judgement which affirmed my party’s position that the election was rigged and characterized with electoral over voting, we are not entirely satisfied with the judgement as the tribunal ought to have deducted the excess illegal votes and declared me and my party rightful winner of the election.

“In view of this, we shall be challenging the tribunal’s judgement at the Appeal Court to declare us as the outright winner of the February 23rd, 2019 National Assembly Election for Delta South Senatorial District”, the statement partly read.

You may recall that Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan had dragged Senator James Manager to the Tribunal, arguing that the election was marred by fraud and irregularities.

The past Governor Dr Emmanuel Uduagha can boast of the 2 flyover Bridges in both Effurun round about and Asaba, he brought the Delta Transit busses which we all call Uduagha Park, He commissioned both shoprite Warri and Asaba but what did Okowa do, relocated all the Big buses called Marcopolo to Agbor and Asaba, Retrieved back all the Haice buses the past governor donated for free transportation for Government school students... It’s 2nd tenure already and nothing tangible Okowa can Boast of .
