The prank took place on Thursday, 5th September, at SOSC extension, FUTO, Owerri. A man approached the building while making a call. On the call, he began counting the number of people in the hall, then went on to tell his supposed caller that there were a lot of people present and that the place would be a perfect spot to drop the bomb.
