Maxvasia: Because the post is not singing the praise of the governor shoulder high. Because 28 lives appear inconsequential in the face of the Mod who can't hide their partisan side 2 Likes |

Drey1: The question is: we those appointments needed? Yes, they were. The governor made it clear that his administration will do fresh recruitment and that the sacked employees can reapply. This implies that the recruitment is in fact needed. Was the recruitment process faulty? They were employed by the necessary body saddled with the responsibilties of recruiting. A recruitment exercise that spans over a period of 20 months. Were they qualified? Yes, they are legal practitioners. Did they work for a period of 5 months post recruitment? Yes! With all their strength. They worked for the State. Did they deserve to be pay? Yes, absolutely. Anyone who worked deserves to be paid whether employed by the former governor or not. Now, go over your post and reexamine your position vis-a-vis these objective submissions. This is not politics, this is people's lives. They are someone's brother, sister, child, father, husband and/or wife 1 Like |

Well since the lawyers were hired because they were competent they should be able to defend their job |

This is unfair if true. He's a governor for all as he's so dearly loved. He should avoid segregating people on party basis. It's not a wise thing to do in Oyo where people focus more on personalities than parties. 1 Like |

Have you taken out time to verify the information that the recruitment began in 2017? Does it not mean anything to you that these lawyers must have resigned their appointments with their previous employers and as such are currently unemployed ? Why are we like this in this country sef? Does it still not mean anything to you that these lawyers have dependants? People like you singing the praises of leaders even when they err(which is normal because they are humans) is the reason Nigeria is retrogressing. |

biofem01:The problem with this issue u r so concerned about is that first ur friend is among the affected persons. Second, it's like u loaned him money to buy the job n ur money is now being threatened. Injustice is a norm in the country.... Lastweek a family was detained for askng for their dad's gratuity. We r living in an abnormal world where we should be ready for any thing thrown ourway. It's sad but dont take it as if the world will end if nothing is done abt it. Go to the prisons, u will see great injustices thr. |

I gathered that they have been paid for the 5 months, kudos to GSM for been a listening governor, and to MOJ at large(Ti eni ba se daadaa, e ja kawi) (If someone does well, let's applaud him). However, employment for those that are QUALiFIED among them will definitely reduce the rate of unemployment in our State, This trait of GSM(listening to the people) is worthy of emulation. |
