He's got Intel in place and probably charms. There's an inspector like that in my home town about 8 years ago, he can burst any crime syndicate and easily fish out kidnappers no matter how harden they are. One day he repented, gave his life to Christ and burned all his charms. 3 days later he was shot dead.

The one I'm talking about happened around 2006 sha.

He was a church member then and a very good Christian.

When Robbers killed his first wife, the dude fortified himself and became a terror to criminals.

He killed so many of them to the extent that the mere mention of his name sent guys scampering for safety.

Soon, the awards and recognitions followed. Promotion followed. And of course, pride.

He was given a personal Hilux van and an escort.

He single handedly brought crime down to the barest minimum in Enugu state.

Revelations came to some church members that his end is near. He was warned to come back to Christ. Dude wouldn't have any of it. He was on top of the world.

Well, as they say, all good things do come to an end.

Somehow, it was discovered that the source of his power was a red band he always tied round his head.

A day came when he let his guard down,he was in a restaurant eating. The robbers arrived in an army camouflage, he didn't know. Reached out to greet them, one grabbed the red scarf on his head. Sensing danger, he scurried into the restaurant but it was too late. The robbers pelted the whole place with bullets. That was the end of Ignatius Eko.

The day he was killed, there was wide spread jubilation in bars, joints and hotels. The bad guys knew a major stumbling block had been removed.
