To tackle issues affecting education, the Ondo state governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has put in place some policies to enhance the important of education in all levels of learning in the state.
This administration, not considering the inherited plethora of problems in all educational level ranging from infrastructural decay, inadequate and obsolete equipment for optimal performance and backlog of outstanding teachers' salaries from the previous administration, has devised plausible means to build a functional and qualitative education in Ondo state.
Given the universally acclaimed status of education as the strongest weapon to fight poverty and a useful pillar on which brighter and rewarding future is laid, the governor of Ondo state Oluwrotimi Akeredolu has taken a knee interest in addressing the issues in the education sector because of his believe that the best way to restructure any society is to start with the restructuring of the educational sector.
