APC Chairmanship Aspirant, Hon Olumide, congratulates Gov Abiodun on his victory at the tribunal



Leading Abeokuta South Local Government Chairmanship Aspirant under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Oluwadare Okumide a.k.a Dre Pumping has congratulated Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State on his victory on Saturday at the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abeokuta, the state Capital.

In a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta, the soft spoken politician said the tribunal verdict vindicated thousands of the people of the State who after the election admonished Hon. Abiodun Akinlade of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) not to challenge Abiodun's victory at the poll on the grounds that the Election was clearly won by Abiodun.

"The tribunal judgment did not just confirm the faith and support of thousands who thronged to elect Gov Abiodun as the governor of Ogun State, but a resounding victory for our country’s democracy.

"It is victory for the rule of law, it is victory for the people of Ogun State, it is victory for the APC.

"Now that the tribunal brouhaha is over, I am appealing to the people of Ogun State to join hands with Governor Abiodun for a better Ogun State. Our governor has started well, his achievements in 100 days in office is mind blowing," he said
