Start by writing specific, well defined worthwhile goals. Have a road map of your goals. Have a clear idea of where you are going to and ways of how to get there. Make conscious effort to get somewhere, until you do so, you never will.

In writing your goals, be specific, write out your goals, the steps you will take in achieving those goals, set a time band for achieving those goals. Make sure the goals that you set are what you really want.
