The hot debate about using 20w50 or when not to use it .. Again it is very important to always read your car manual.. Again am not a big fan of 20w50.. It has to do more with with people using 20w50 automatically because we are in hot climate.. People will say Nigeria is hot very hot it -7degree c just use 20w50 with out reading car manual..

Below is car manual for an accord that was pointed out to me.. If you read the circle small print .. It states don't use 10w40 or 20w50... It is essential you read before you start doing oil change .....big thanks to Dickerson for pointing it out....
