Guyz, Can we post any proverb in your own language that you know. Please mention where the proverb is from (e.g Yoruba, Hausa or Ibo etc). Give us the literal interpretation in English and in under what situation/circumstance it could be applied.

Here is mine:

YORUBA PROVERB: ''Won ni Olorun kin se ika, to ba pa eniyan l''ori, a fi irugbon dii''
INTERPRETATION: It has been confirmed that God is not wicked, if He makes ones head bald, He replaces with beard/mouthstache

This could be applied when you are giving out advice to someone who felt cheated by a circumstance of life.
