Very shameful commissioning. A filling station is not a developmental project in a state considering the number of fuel stations in the state and country. The governors in the north ride too much on the ignorance of its people.

Richdad
Is the Gas Station a State project?

Lol.

Shows you the kind of people that are at the helm of affairs. Do you know that the governor genuinely believes he has done something great for his state.
Why not read the thread with an open / neutral mind. The filling station was not built by Kano state government. It was individual biz. The sole aim why Ganduje was invited was for a commercial/ marketing purposes.

Ganduje Commission The Biggest Filling Station In Nigeria With Almost 200 Staff

Yesterday Kano State Governor Umar Ganduje commissioned the biggest filling station in the country SALBAS Oil and Gas Ltd owned by Alhaji Saleh Baba Rano located at Gadar Tamburawa along Zaria Road. It has a shopping plaza, 140 toilets, 70 pumps, a Friday Mosque and almost 200 staff.

Is it based on the number of pumps or based on number of toilets that you are rating it the biggest filling station in Nigeria?
There is an NNPC filling station along Kubwa Expressway close to Katampe junction in Abuja which has 100 pumps. That should be the biggest filling station in Nigeria.

yeah, at least, all the folks that were involved in one way or the other in building the station got paid, and above all, 200 people and their dependants are now better off, look for the shame in employing 200 people or better still dangote should be ashamed of himself for employing Nigerians, pls don't forget to tell us ur own developmental projects and the number of people u keep off the street. morafvcker.

Any undertaking that directly benefits the poor is a crime.

The ignorant one here is the one who did notice that the filling station was NOT a government project but and private venture - the governor was invited only to commission it.

Furthermore, the additional 200 new jobs created at the station his no doubt a positive Development, which would go a long way towards addressing the unemployment problem in the state - only pained ones would think otherwise.

Bloody thieves. Them no get oil, them and west, but them bend constitution to fit steal. Them silent sarowiwa when he complained.

They said Jonathan wad incompetent. But now we are having someone from their ranks giving incompetence a whole new definition.

They don't have oil, but they are building refineries. Not even the God heart to build it in the region producing the oil to compensate for the degradations..no. they are site it in the west. When the white man did their version of colonialism I dare say it was less painfull.
