1. It is 50 tonnes per day Rice Mill. Which will be churning out at least 1,000 bags of 50kg processed rice daily.

That is 6,000 bags of rice weekly and 24,000 bags of rice monthly. The financial implication is that over N300,000,000.00 will be injected into the state economy monthly.

2. The mill has 500 Kilowatt Bio-gasification plant that will power the plant and the host communities, to take care of power generation and distribution.

3. There is an 800 Hectares of Rice plantation of over 2000 hectares of land owned by Kogi state Government at Ejiba, Kogi West in Kogi state.

4. The mill will 8,000 Direct and Indirect jobs

5. Injection of N120m into Kogi State IGR monthly which activates the diversification drive of the New Direction Government.

6. They will be Off-takes from more than 5,000 farmers across the state. It will be absorbing 80 tonnes of paddy rice daily. That translates to 23,040 tonnes of paddy per year.

7. The mill will raise over 5,000 outgrowers(rice farmers) which were never in the chain before.

8. It will Stimulate the economy of the state aligning it to purposeful commerce, Agriculture and places Kogi as one of the Rice Producers in Nigeria.

9. This would Kogi State to one of the leading states in rice production for joint partnerships and international donor collaboration programs.

10. Rice brawn manufacturing on the plant will provide feeds for poultry farmers.

11. It is estimated to sell for between 14,000/15,000 on a 50 KG.

12. The name of Kogi Rice will remain Confluence Rice

12. The Mill will be commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd.) before the November 16th Kogi Kogi Guber elections.

13. It is the first and only legacy project built by any Governor in Kogi State in Kogi West Nigeria, courtesy of His Excellency, Gov Yahaya Bello.
