Misleading subject heading.
Mrs Oyo-Ita has not been sacked.
She has been directed to proceed on leave whilst EFCC continue investigation of allegation against her.

That means she continues to receive her full salary.
She would be able return if she's cleared following the investigation.

She never requested to resign, she requested to retire early

Very shameful of the President and his team(no disrespect intended). This beautiful and brilliant woman who has done a very terrific work in the civil service and I look up to her; she tendered her resignation letter some weeks ago, Presidency rejected her letter.

Meaning her service was still needed, why sack her now? So people that knows nothing about the public service like some ones who have commented earlier.

Again, this is disgraceful.

All these Calabar people and to some extent Igbo people are 'good' at that. In a country like Nigeria already unsalvageably polluted with corruption and Nepotism, they would hold top positions and be forming needless due process and 'principle'. On the other hand, the average abokki or Yoruba person would use the opportunity to empower as many of their people as possible (employment, contracts, etc).

I've heard from close sources how useless the Oyo Ita woman was to her people... Nothing gained from her. Now she will face her woes and carry her cross alone.

As Nigeria don spoil finish, e no make sense to dey form Saint inside coven of witches.

Her problem started after she exposed the Presidency on the reinstatement of Maina, whenever this FG targets anyone don’t ever think it’s a hunt of whoever does align with them, Ibe Kachukwu exposed the fraud going on in NNPC of how over 25 billion Naira are being squandered and he was not given a ministerial slot again if you think your president is working please have a rethink

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is investigating the Head of Service, Winifred Oyo-Ita.

According to ChannelsTV, the head of the federal civil service is being quizzed by the anti-graft agency for alleged N3 billion contract scam.

ChannelsTV reported sources as saying that she was also being investigated for alleged abuse of duty tour allowance, money laundering and alleged theft of government fund

1. Buhari must be a genius. His 2023 plans made Oyo-Ita to be involved in bribery, duty tour allowance falsification and fraud case.
2. Buhari must be wicked for refusing Oyo-Ita's initial resignation, so that her "sins" be covered, while we made so much noise and allowed Babachir Lawal to be prosecuted.

Since she was involved in shady contracts, falsification of duty tour allowance and illegal acquisition of govt contract through phony companies and cronies.
