In fact a Christian who failed to honor his wife should know that his prayers are not acceptable before God! 1Peter 3:7 compared to Proverbs 28:9

Of course true Christians are doing well in this respect, that's why most misinformed Churchgoers claiming Christians do accuse true Christians asking "why is it that you people don't marry from other religious groups?" {1Corinthian 7:39} There assumption is that all religious groups claiming Christians belongs to Christ, even when we try to help them realise the fact that there is just only one true Christian organization they turn against us and start vilifying us!

But Jesus has said it all "by their FRUIT you will know them" Matthew 7:15-20

Our own wives {though most of them struggle hard to find a husband in our organization} and when the finally got hooked, they live like queens in our homes, so wisdom is justified by all her children! Luke 7:35

What I mean by appreciating them,is actually in it literal sense, they should stop seeing them as weak, naive people & people they could easily use their manipulative venoms on,rather they should start treating them with respect.
Most of them could genuinely like the girl,but as common with most girls,when you profess how much you genuinely like them,they most likely are going to mess up with your emotions,especially when they don't feel the same for you,but will still be around to take advantage of ones feelings.

You sound like you were heartbroken. Bros, if you don't tell a lady you love her but think she will understand by you being nice to her, you are wasting your time not because she does not appreciate you but because she may not love you in the manner your desire. And what's wrong with been friends? Speaking up saves you ahead of time so that even when you are treating a lady nicely you both know why you are so doing.
