The Christian Association of Nigeria, Kaduna chapter, has raised the alarm over an alleged plan by the state government to demolish one of the oldest Anglican churches in Zaria, following a seven-days quit notice issued by the government. The Kaduna State Urban Planning Development Agency (KASUPDA) had issued the notice for the demolition of Saint George’s Anglican Church in Sabon Gari, Zaria, said to have been built about 110 years ago, Guardian reports.
