Oil has done more harm than good to Nigeria
How is that when the entire country relies on revenue from oil?

Yet the oil wells are own by hausa and yoruba, big thief.,

You own the oil??

Did you put it into the ground?

That oil had existed there even before your fore fathers migrated there.

all the comments above shows they don't even know wha is happening, both those yabbing the ND region and those thinking their problem is from Abuja.

We need to grow up and see the Oil and gas facilities as industries in our state and we need to sustain them, see them as factories for production of certain products sold in the local and international markets and also be involved in selecting those who represent us in the investment to ensure the real dividend gets us as stakeholders.

all this idea of Çommunity', ''they took our oil', or where the state governments receive all the monotised benefits and royalties outside federal allocations and cannot be held to account for them need to change.

Thje investors are not thieves, they took some risks of business to establish the facilities, they not father christmas, and for your information Govt is centrally getting so much on your behalf from what is produced and profit.

We only have to ensure all those who are supposed to ensure Communities and impacted people's well being must be dealt with and made accountable, just like any other business or industries in the Country in the state.

for instance NDDC and Ministry of Niger Delta was meant to turn around the fortune of the Niger Delta, especially to replicate building new towns and relocate impacted communities all over the region as was done in finima by NLNG, develop new economy and diversify the industrial derivative for the people to be involved in for livelyhood, so that the suffering of the devastating effect of Oil exploration will be wiped away within twenty five years ....... but how far was that achieved?

It is almost unbelievable that no NDDC project is successful so far!! Ministry of Niger Delta is still battling with a two hours drive EAST-WEST road for over 10 years of taking over the first 10 years of start by Abdusalam .... yet what is the thinking of the people?

We still cry áll this oil company sef' who are heavily taxed and tasked to contribute huge oil revenue for NDDC budget as a central body for the desire development ...... they will just be laughing at us all these whie, Im sure.

The last Amnesty programme was mere business and not an all round suitable application for sustainable skills either ..... the wrong approach for the wrong people.

the people need to buckle up please and all Nigerians mustr support them and not pushing jabs on their faces, frustrating the common man who is suffering for his innocense.

But is it the north that vandalized (burst) this pipeline leading to its explosion? You ND should use you brain and join the freedom wagon instead of begging for derivative and destroying your fatherland
