I strongly feel an IGBO presidency would be a presidency of the poor, because an Igbo man with shady character vying for presidency would loose starting from the SE.

To an extent, the GEJ presidency was a presidency of the poor, a lot of the affluent known names in the corridors of power were being relegated and less influential which brought about anarchy and obviously didn't sit well with Northern oligarchs..

The SS and SE are the only regions without known family names in HOR or State house of rep except Theodore Orji's son in the Abia state House of reps, while other regions have them in good numbers, am not saying they may not be capable, but do they actually have first hand experience of what the society needs?

This goes to show, the brand of politics played in the SE is that of equality and hardwork aswell as knowing "it's not your fathers throne" no matter how powerful you feel you may have become. (Case study - Okorocha and sons)..

That is the kind of politics Nigeria needs to play where the ordinary Nigerian can strive to the highest seat having felt first hand the needs and demands of the poor...

I strongly feel a president from the SE would bring about a reformed Nigeria where equity and equality aswell as merit supersedes influence.

I believe that whoever wrote this is either an undergraduate or politically ignorant.
